IMPORTANT DATES

• Auditions: None; all interested dancers must complete this form. Time spent in rehearsals is dependent on your casting.

• Performances: Friday October 24 AND Satuday October 25 at 7:00p Deering Grange

• Tech: Thursday June 19 at The Hill Arts from 6-10p

• Rehearsals at Deering Grange Tues, Weds, or Thurs from 6:00-9:00 for 8 weeks; August 26-October 23. Rehearsal schedule is dependent on casting; you may request 1, 2, or 3 vignettes.

NOTES REGARDING CASTING

• There is no formal audition process for dancers; simply fill out this form.

• You may be asked to submit an audition video if you have not performed with Vivid Motion in the past 12 months, or if you have never performed with us.

• Choreographers will be given a list of interested dancers to choose from. Availability is very important, as this will be a quick rehearsal process and short show. Final casting is at the discretion of the show super-director, Oliver Jones.

• Although we try our best to place people, not everyone who submits a dancer interest form may be cast. This may be due to availability, reliability in previous shows, or lack of interest from choreographers.

Performances: Scary Stories, a spooktacular evening of dance at The Deering Grange
All performances @ The Deering Grange. This is a fundraiser for the Grange & a community building event with our neighbors in North Deering.

Friday Oct 24; performance only
Dancer call 6:00pm, Grange opens 6:30, performance @ 7:00pm

Saturday Oct 25; performance followed by (optional) costume after-party with open dancing
Dancer call 6:00pm, Grange opens 6:30, performance @ 7:00pm; costume party 8:30-10pm

Rehearsals: Rehearsals will be held at the Deering Grange. Each vignette will have its own rehearsal night: Tues, Weds, or Thurs from 6:00-9:00* for 8 weeks; August 26-October 23.
*You may request to dance in 1, 2, or all 3 vignettes.

Super-Director: Oliver Jones

Dancer sign-up closes August 12. Directors will submit their casting requests on or before August 15. Dancers will be notified of their casting by August 18. There will be an all cast meeting at the Grange on August 21 at 7:00pm. In-person. Required.
